Tally.ERP9 handles important facets of manufacturing industry. The companies can maintain stock in batches with bill of material and estimate the cost of goods after the production. Using Tally.ERP9 manage order cycles and reorder levels with pending orders. Comprehensive reports showcasing the valuation of goods along with expenses incurred in production.
The training session is designed to cover all the aspects of manufacturing in Tally.ERP9.
• Identification of nature of manufacturing
• Grouping of Materials
• Process of Purchase Order Cycle
• Transfer of material for production
• Using standard Bills of Material for manufacturing
• Cost of manufacturing
• Sales Order Cycle in Tally
• Report of Stock Summary, Godown, Batch wise, Item cost analysis
Beyond Tally
Material Requirement Analysis
Material Requirement Planning (MRP) allows users to analyze and forecast the production and purchase requirement based on the sales orders/ sales plans, pending purchase orders, minimum stocks and Reorder level created in the company.
It helps to estimate the consumption of the products as per the Bill of Material defined for finished Goods and semi finished goods.
Its intuitive MRA reports helps to monitor, plan, and schedule material for immediate production.
Landed Cost
Landed cost is the total cost of the material imported through shipment including purchase price, freight, insurance, and other costs up to the port of destination.
In some instances, it also include the customs duties and other taxes levied on the material imported. Landed cost on imported materials is calculated on the Purchase Price + other expenses incurred on the stock Item.Using Landed cost module we can carry out the following import process at one consolidated place:
1. Transfer the imported material from Port to destination godown.
2. Book the actual and provisional expenses which gets apportioned equally in the value of single/multiple items with multiple batches.
3. Automatic calculation of cost for single/Multiple Item on specified method like appropriate by qty or value.
4. Comprehensive report which provides the complete overview of landed rate achieved after expenses incurred during transit from port to destination
Quality Control
For Manufacturing companies it is important to have quality control system when the material is received from the supplier. Also equally important is to assure that the goods produced meets the quality expectation of the customers.
This solution allows to define quality parameters for Raw material & Finished goods. The Raw material hits the store & ready for issue to production only after QC test is done. The result of tests are entered by quality department and the approved consignment is cleared for further use.
The same system is followed in production. The Goods produced are sent for quality assurance & the results are entered in the system before it is ready for despatch to customers.
The quality control person can print certificate of analysis for the raw material procured & Goods produced.
Pre-Purchase system
In Manufacturing/project companies, the internal material requirement request by users in stores, production etc. is done through indent. The purchase person collects all the indent & raises a purchase order to the selected Supplier. The given solution automizes the process. Now the user can raise indent with Multiple items. The purchase person can see the pending Indent list. He can enter Purchase order to supplier against this pending indent. The order can be one or more item of the indent, against multiple indent & also part of the quantity. The purchase person can also shoprt close the indent. The indent system lacks request for quotation (RFQ) & quotation comparision.
